The AJP Collaborative Education Program invites qualified education providers to offer training that helps judges develop the knowledge and skills needed to pass the AJP examination. Approved programs may be featured on the WSDC website as educational resources for the judging community. By connecting judges with these programs, the AJP seeks to promote consistent judging standards across all WSDC Registry Events and support fairness and professional excellence throughout the community. To have your program considered for inclusion on the WSDC website as part of the AJP Collaborative Education Program, complete the following steps:
Application Steps:
- Submit a detailed program outline that includes the program’s history, your judging experience, and the number of students who have completed the program.
- Email the outline to [email protected] with the subject line “Collaborative Education Program Outline.”
- The AJP committee will review your information to confirm that your program aligns with AJP expectations.
- After reviewing your information, the AJP committee will present it to the WSDC Board for final approval. If approved, your program will be expected to participate in the AJP Scholarship Initiative. For every 10 candidates who pass the AJP examination and identify your program as their preparation source, your organization will earn one scholarship credit. The AJP will award each credit to a deserving recipient at its discretion, helping expand global access to dance judging education.
